The New Brighton Gala Committee intends to decorate the upper portion of Sea View road and the esplanade in th? manner u-ed in Christchurch on Jubilee day. A large number of entries have boen received for the various events on Thursday, and a (.-i-nentl committee meeting was held last when final arrangements ior the gala iter* made.
