(PBJCSS ASSOCIATION.TELEGRAM.) WELLINGTON, December 3. Wind—Strong from between south-east, south, and south-west at all places north of the Thames. Raglan, and Cape Egmont. Gale from between cast and south and south-east at places thence eastward to Castle Point, and strong southerly winds eisewhere, but changing to between north-east, north, and west after sixteen hours.
Barometer—Rise at places north of Thames and Manukau, fail thence southward to Capo Egmont- and Castle Point, riss eisewhere, but failing again after sh-toen hours. Soa—W-oderat- on all the western coast, and the east coast southward of Kaikoura. heavy thence to Tauranga, moderate thence northward. Tides —Good on all western coast and the east coast north of the East Cape and" south of Kaikoura, high at ail other parts. SYNOPSIS OF' THE PREVIOUS 48 HOtTES. Decreasing pressure everywhere until jibout midnight on Saturday, and since then It has genera.ly increased slowly. Strong to heavy northerly winds were prevalent from noon of Saturday until about 6 a.m. on Sunday, and rain has fallen at most places southward oi Napier and New Plymouth. A low; pressure from the west will pass east of the meridian of tho South Cape on the sth.
