CANTERBURY JOCKEY CLUB
A general meeting of members of the Canterbury Jockey Club was held at the Cinb rooms at 4 p.m. yesterday, ifr G. G. Steed in the chair. The following motion, of which notice had been given by Air Stead, waa carried unanimously :— "That Sir Geo. Clifford be, and is hereby, elected a life member of the Club. ,, The following new members were elected:—Messrs R. O. Campbell, Emerson Clarkaon, T. L. Cowlishaw, Captain H Davison, A. Ehvorthy, H. Harris, W. Hayward B. M. Litchfield, H. N. Martin, W. G. Stead! and Colin Stewart.
