MISCELLANEOUS MATCHES.
A match was played between Oxford Terrace Literary Society and East Belt Literary Society on Saturday, Oxford Terrace winning by 3 points (a try) to nil. , On Saturday t<he Lyttelton team touring jn th© North Island beat the Kaieri Club, at Wanganui, by 10 points to 3. A match was played at South Park on Saturday, between -tlie employees of Messrs James Gosh and Williams and Stephens, and was won by the former by 11 points to 8.
A match played on Saturday, between the Lyttelton Naval Cadets and the Queen's Cadets, resulted in a win for the latter by 9 points to 3. B. Taylor (2) and Washer scored for the winners, and Koskello scored a try for the losers.
