RANGIORA HORSE FAIR.
At the Northern Central yards on Friday there was an entry of 80 horses. All pnnd f!OT- f « wre in strong demand. Prices were: —Unbroken draughts £25 to £30. lipht do £11 to £15.broketi in draughts £30, £38 to £42, medium do £25 to £27, older sorts £15 to £18. light harness horses £12 to £15, hacks £10 to £12, weedy sorts £4 to £5.
Mr W. Buss held a sale at Mr Metherai's, Ashlev, on Thursday, at which forward store ho?gets brought uo to 16s 2d, merino ewes in lamb to 14s 6d, dairy cattle £7 to £8 10s.
