Mr E. W. Roper was a passenger for Wellington by the Rotc-mahana last night. Mr G. A. Lewin went by the same, steamer. Mr Hurst Seager was a passenger for Wellington by the Rotomahana. Mr and Mrs Jno. Holmes and daughter left on a trip to Melbourne by the Westralia yesterday. Lie*t. -Colonel Gordon returned from the South by the express last night. Mr George Harper was a passenger by the same train. Capt. Willis -returned from the South by the express last nigut. ...Mr C Studholme arrived in town yesterday. Mr A. Glanville Cox, London, arrived in town yesterday. (Mr and Mrs* Helmore came to town yes ; terday. Mr Geo. Joaclum, General Manager of the Westport Coal Company, arrived from Welline-ton by the Rotomahana yesterday •morninz, add went on to Dunedin by the Westralia. Mr J. M'Larhlan, M.H.R., was a passenger from the North by yesterday morning's steamer. Mr and Mrs T. A. Moloney. Mr and Mrs J. Patrick and Miss Patrick, Mr J. Mendelson, Mr A. Burt and Miss Burt, and Mr J. Edgar were among-st the passengers for Han" mcr yesterday morning. *| Amongst the passengers by tho express yesterday were the Rev.
