IN THE MATTER OF A PROPOSED LOCAL BILL OR ACT. PURSUANT to the provisions of the Standing Orders of the House of Representatives relating to Local Bills, the Christchurch Drainage Board hereby gives Notice that Applicaton will be made to the General Assembly of New Zealand in Parliament assembled at the Session now being held and after the date of this notice for Leave to Introduce a Bill fo be called The Christchurch , District Drainage Act, 1875, Amendment Act 1900. (4) To levy a Special Rate upon all rateable Property within the said area to an amount not exceeding in any one year the sum of 2d in the pound of the annual value of such Property for the purpose of paying the annual interest upon all or any of the moneys secured by any of the said debentures.
