New .Plymouth—Wind, S.E., light; bare, 29.79; therm, 57; fine, sea smooth. . Castlepoint-r-Wind, S.W., light; bare, 29.86; therm., 50; fine, sea heavy. Wellington—Wind, N.N.W., light; baro., 29.82; therm., 50; fine. Westport—Calm; baro., 29.79; therm., 47; fine, sea smooth. Oamaru—Wind, N.E., light; baro., 29.82; therm., 43; fine, sea moderate. Bluff—Wind, S.W., fresh; baro., 29.81; therm., 44; gloomy. THE WEATHER IN AUSTRALIA. The following 9_a.m. weather reports from Australian stations havß been received: — Albany, July 11th—Wind, N.; baro., 30.50; cloudy. Hobart, July 11th—Wind, N.W.; baro., 30.10; fine. Sydney, July 12th—Wind, W.; baro., 30.30; fine. Captain Edwin telegraphs:—Pressure has continued to increase at Albany and Sydney, but has decreased at Hobart. A low pressure from the north-west is about 300 miles to the north-ea3t of Tauranga, travelling to the southwest. A low pressure from the west will pass eastward of the meridian of the South Ca_>e to-night.
