John Phillips y William Boag, claim £92 damages for breach of covenant conta-ined in a lestse existing between k Mr Boag and the person from whom Mr Phillips bought- the land, concerning which the alleged breadi of coren;«>t had taken place. "Mr Russell, with him Mr Meares, appearetl f«»r the plaintiff, a.Jid Mr Weston, with him Mr ►Stringer, appeared for the defendant. Mr Boag had afreed not to allow the spread of gorse or noxious weeds on the hind, and it was now alleged by the plaintiff tliafc tho paddock of 13£ acres l*ad become covered with wild tares, another paddock of 8 acres had become smothered with Scotch thistle, and there -was a clump of Califoraian tliistle covering three acres. Plaintiff claimed £12 3s on the acre paddock, £40 on the 8 acre padxloek. and also £5 for the depreciation of .a clover crop.
