AMERICAN COAL FOE EUROPE.
The New York correspondent of the "Daily News" says that a contract for the delivery of 60,000 tons of bituminous coal for immediate shipment from Philadelphii, Baltimore, Norfolk, and optional New York to the United Kingdom or the Continent, is reported from Wall .street to have been signed. Tlie shipment, it is rumoured, will be the first of monthly -dupments averaging the same tonnage, mo_t of which will g<> to Belgium and Germany, beginning about June 10th. Shipments of bituminous co.il from this country to Russia will be made from this city or "Philadelphia under a cwntract. calling for 40,000 tons in ten sailings. This* coal is for the Russian Governmew. railways, and it is figured to be delivered at Odessa, at 12tM 24c per ton, or 96 cents per ton under the cost of making similar shipments from England."
