LOYAL ORANGE INSTITUTION.
The annual church parade of the members of the Loyal Orange Institution took place yesterday, when 250 members of the different lodges assembled at the Orange Hull, Worcester street. Preceded by the Linwood Temperance Band, and marshalled by P. D. Masters J. M'Causland and J. Hanna, the procession marched along Worcester street, through Cathedral square, down Colombo street to Cashel street, thence to Madras street to St. John's Church, where the Rev. H. C. M. Watson delivered an impressive and eloquent sermon on the text Fhiiippians iv*., 8. Appropriate hymns were* sung, arid one-half of the collection was kindly given to the Nelson Protestant Orpnanage. On returning to tlie hall the brethren were addressed by the R.W.D.G.M., who thanked them for their attendance, and complimented them on the large number who had teen present, and said it had betai the best attendance for some years. Votes of thanks were accorded'the Rev. H. C- M. Watson and the Linwood Temperance Band, who gave their services gratuitously. The Grand Lodge MI. was i-epresentedbvß.W.D.G.M., H. J. Ranger; G.S., E. Sevell; G.T., A. Rickard; G.C., J. Marshall; also P.G. Masters J. M. Douglass, G. M'angin, J. Tollerton, Brother Redpatli and P.G. Secretary James Cay-gill. The Black Precepiory were represented, and riso the district of-fioeT-3. Representatives from the following lodges attended:—Nos. 1, 3 and 7 Ladies' L.O. Lodges,'Nos. I* 2, 3, 4. 5, 7, 14, 16, 23, 24, 26, 32, 33, and S? L.O. Lodges. It was announced that the anmvereiry concert will take place on Thursday at the Choral Hall. .'■■"■■, ;'" .-
