(PBISS ASSOCIATION T___RA_.) WE-LINGTON, April 20. "Wind.—North to east and south-east gale at all places northward of the East Cape, Taupo, and Raglan, strong * easterly winds on the East Coast between the East Cape and Capo Palliser, and moderate easterly winds elsewhere. Bahometeb.—Fall at all places north of the East Capo and New Plymouth, very little movement elsewhere. $ Sea.—Heavy on the East Coast north of the East Cape, heavy easterly swell then south to Capo Campbell after sixteen hours. Tides.—High on the East Coast north of the East Cape, moderate thence to Kaikoura, low elsewhere.
Rain.—Probably heavy, may be expected at all places northward of the East Cape, Taupo and Raglan, and frost in. most parts of the South island. synopsis of the previous 24 HOURS. There has been very little movement in the pressure anywhere. There has been a good deal of rain at places north of the Thames and Manukau, but fine weather everywhere else, with sharp frost in parts of the South Island. ™„«,,.„ R. A EDWIN.:
