AN IMPORTANT DISCOVERY
United Press Association—By. Eleotrio Telegraph—Copyright. (Received April 20th, 9.10 a.m.) SYDNEY, April 20. The Board of Health' expert has succeeded in discovering the bacillus of the plague in the stomachs of fleas taken from rats.
(Received April 20th, 10.15 p.m.) SYDNEY. April 20. The fresh cases of plague are: —Ross, the Glebe; McGailky, Ultimo. (Received April 21st, 1.5 a.m.) SYDNEY, April 20. Curtis is dead. The portion of the city extending from Liverpool to Hay streets, and from Sussex street to Darling harbour, has been proclaimed.
