LODGE MEETINGS.

The fortnightly meeting of the Loyal Sister Pearce Lodge of Oddtellowa was held on Thursday evening. A letter was received from the V.G., Sister Hewitt, resigning her position of V.G., as she wae likely to be away from Christchurch for some time. Two candidates were proposed for membership. The monthly meeting of Nα. 3 Victoria Ladies' Loyal Orange Lodge was held on Thursday evening, the lady president, Sister Gourley, in the chair. It was decided to send several letters of sympathy and condolence to brothers and sisters who had suffered bereavement. The President gave a long report of Mr and *.*rs Slattery's meetings. It was decided to hold a concert and dance in aid of the New Zealand Contingent. At the fortnightly meeting of the Ridgley Lodge of Oddfellows, American Constitution, on Wednesday evening, the seventh round of the quoits tournament was played. Court Star of Canterbury, A.0.F., met on Wednesday evening, the C.M., Bro. W. B. Weskley, in the chair. Statement of receipts and expenditure for the quarter ending Mireh 31st shewed that the receipts for the quarter had been £456 18s, and the expenditure for sick pay £186, funerals £51, and medical exnenses £96. One new mem-

ber was admitted. The receipts of the evening were £302 6s 9d.
