Hse promise of day induced some 700 holiday-makers to patronise the Botomahana's trip to Akaroa. for tie regatta, which had been postponed ance Anniversary Day. The favourite steamier of the Union Steamship Company maintained her reputation for speed, accomplishing tfcfc journey to Akaroa in 3 hours and 20 minutes.
