» The oombined Rose and Flower Show will be held this day and this evening in the Art Gallery. There is every prosjiect of the Show beCng one of the best for soane years past. A sale of plants will be held during the day, and a number of ladies 'have undertaken the supply of refreshments at the lowest rites. ~~ : : The installation of Bro. W. Anderson and investiture of the officers of the Southern Lodge ia to take 'place this evening at Eatapoi. A Sate of Work under the auspices of the Ministering Children's League in aid of the budding fund of a convalescent cottage, will be -held in the Oddfellows' Hall, Montreal street north, on Saturday afternoon next. An organ recital will be given by Mr A. J. W. Bunz at St. Luke's, Manchester street, this evening.
