The contest between the Midland and College Second was brought to a conclusion on the College ground on Saturday, when the former, thanks principally to the batting of Wbitta, a substitute, won a well-contested game by one wicket. Scores: —College, 48 and IH \ v eraon 13. and Reynolds and Knight 16 each). Midland, 36 and 92 for none wickets (Wfesita 53 not out. and Kemp 12). Johnston and "Robertson bowied beet for the Midland, and Knight and Denham for tie College. / ' ' L.- ' The United heat Albion by 121 runs. Scores:—United, 70 and 125 (Oarsia 22. A. Cook 21, Wilteuns 20 not out, R. S. Wiggins 19, and Gresscn 13); Albion, 39 and 35. Bowring and Harper bowled well for the winners, and Baxter and Weston for the losers.
