I(FBOK OCB OWN OOMKSrONPEJTT.) WANGANUI, October 18. The first to work this rooming were Troubadour, Whitnev and Light, who nn a mile. The first two finished together. Light, with a light weight up ,was beaten off. Watershot, Waiwera. and Marina jumped the hurdles well. The kttar went once round only, and finished on the plough. La Volta and* Lightning also jumped once round, the former faliing at the last fence. Sedgebrook and St. Lyra were associated in a fast nx furlongs, the former having the beat of the go. Boeeplot ran six furlongs weli, ; assisted bj Punui the lint four furlongs, but 1 the Utter was of no u*e to the first-named. ; I Chasseur, Man-o'-War, and Indian Shot j went "six furlongs, finishing in the order j named. Vibration and Black Jacket went j fire furlong* in moderate time. Rubin ran •, a mile well, awieted in the iasfc six furlongs by Boua h' de, louiung extremely well, and Return, went on* round at ihaif-pace, and finished up with a fast six lvi «jm* i\aytK.rn attempt-ed 10 jump toe hardies, but both ran off, and then did a strong round on the grass, Bones, Notoriety, The Hempw, Torpina, Wilton, Amazon, Waylay, Bugler, Gowrie, and a host of others, did useful pacing. Somno* lent, a half-nstar to Tang»W by Natator, ran nix furlong* none too well. Strane and Hotapur ian a alow aix furlong*.
