HASTINGS TRAINING NOTES. [By TujcemAFH.] (FBOU OTJB OWN CORKESFONDENT.) NAPIER, September 27. This was another off morning at Hastings, and nothing beyond trotting and cantering was done, with the exception that the Auckland pair, *«,i>sella and Explosion, spurted over the last three furlcngs of two steady rounds. (FBESS ASSOCIATION TELEGHAM.) AUCKLAND, September 27. At a meeting of the stewards of the Otahuhu Trotting Club, John Helseributtel, alias J. H. Smith, and the black mare Jewess, alias Jesa, were disqualified for life, on the ground that the mare was "rung in" as Lasi at the club's meeting in February last. To-day is general entry day for the Hawke's Bay Jockey Club's Spring Meeting. Acceptances close for the handicaps on the first day, further nominations will be taken, and the sweep for the Guineas has fc> be made good. Nominations for the New Brighton Trotting Club's opting Meeting wiu close on Saturday. The programme appears in this issue.
