HURRICANE IN THE BERMUDAS.
LONDON, September 14. News from #he Bermudas states that a hurricane visited the islands, doing great damage. NORTHERN INVESTMENT COMPANY. The Northern Investment Company of New Zealand has declared a dividend of 6 pea* cent. The profit for the year was £8197. The Coifipany carried forward £2397. FROM EUSTON TO SYDNEY. OTTAWA, September 13. Sir Wm. Van Hbrase, President of the Canadian and Pacific Railway, is makin" arrangements fot- a route from Euston station, London, across the Atlantic, through Canada, and across the Pacific to Yokohama, Hong Kong and Australia. The Company will sell tickets for the route, and guarantee through connections. GUERIN'S FORTRESS. PARIS, September 13. Guerin's fortress is rtocturnally provisioned by means of a rope from a bouse opposite.
