THE ETHEL RINGING-IN CASE.
(PBSSS ASSOCIATION TRLECRAXS.) WELLINGTON, September 13. The Crown Prosecutor entered a nolle piosequi in the case against R. S. Henry and J. A. Coogan, for alleged "ringing-in 1, the mare Ethel, three juries having failed to arrive at a decision. Mr Justice Edwards, in discharging them, said that they should congratulate themselves that some of the jury had doubts in the case. His Honour said that tue prosecution was one that should have been brought, and he hoped wettid tare •> beaefieial efleet.
