PERSONAL ITEMS.
Bishop Julius** was" a passenger for the South by the express yesterday morning. Dr. Thomas, of Ashburton, was also a passenger. The Hon. L. Walker was in town yesterday, and left for Wellington by the Wakatdpu. Captain Anderson returned from Wellington by' the Iflora. yesterday. Mr F. Waymouth came North by the express last night. Captain Willis was also a passenger. Mr R. Speight arrived by the same train.
