"THE WEEKLY PRESS."

An invention that may be commended to the attention of all runholders i 3 described and illustrated in this week's •* Weekly Press"—a new dip, whereby the sheep are got into tbe dip without difficulty very expeditiously. It is in use a? Messrs Robert Campbell and Sons, Otekaike Station, North Otago, and was invented by Mr McKeliar, the manager. The illustrations, from photographs by Miss Campbell, give a good idea of tho working, and there is also a ground plan. Among the other illustrations are portraits of tbe new Chief Justice and the new Legislative Councillors, and views of the opening of the Christchurch Golf' Club's new links nt Russley. The " Agriculture in New Zealand" series is continued, with a paper on Marlborough, by Alfred J. Litchfield.
