CYCLING.

Itis ordinary meetang of the Executive of tbe,League of Wheelmen was held last night. Ifc W. O. Afcack was elected as chairman of the Executive, in place of Mr W. E. TVimparwi resigned. Iα reference to a fetter from the lavwcargill Cycttng Club, M to the propoaed conference on July 21st, miking whether the resolutions passed at the conference were inteodbd to be operative, or would hove to be referred to the League or the clubs for confirmation, it was decided to reply fhafc the conference was only intended to make suggestions. The Secretary was instructed to send a circular to all clubs, asking whether they would be represented or not. a* the conference. It was resolved that the Secretary arrange for the time of the conference with the N-Z.A.A. The question of the presence on the League of membow of the P.8.C., as delegatee for other otabt, was diaooaeed. Mr Cotton moved— "ThAt clubs be notified that delegates to the League cannot be appointed who are member* of any dob belonging to an institution antagonistic to the League." Mr Williams seconded the motion, which \rae carried. The Chairman brought under the notice of the League toe granting of the use of Lancaster Pwk by the Comppajr to the P.B.C. 'for Boxing Day as against a League club. The whole of the revenue of the Park from cycling daring the past year having come League racing, be thought the League club should'have had the preference.
