A punitive expedition has been sent out. June 26. The Chinese Government intends to build strong forts in the neighbourhood of Pekin. ST. PETERSBURG, June 26. Russia is devoting eleven million roubles (about £1,700,000) to the work of dredging and the construction of moles at Port Arthur.
