AUSTRALIANS v LEICESTERSHIRE. United Press Association—By Eleotrio Telegraph—Ccpyripbt. LONDON, June 23. The Australians) began a match to-day against the following Leicestershire team: — Grewcock, Pougker, Geeson,. Brown," Marriott, Wbiteside, Knight, King, Wood, Whitehead, and Dβ Trafford. The weafcher was dull and threatening, with a soft wicket. Hill, Iredale and Johns are standing out. The score at the luncheon adjournment was 122 for five wickets. The first innings of the Australians closed for 194, and the Leicestershire men, in their first innings, scored 96. June 24. The match was resumed to-day. . The weather was fine, and the wicket faster than it wqs yesterday. The attendance of the puoiic was moderate. The Australians, in their second innings, lost three wickets for 177, and then dectaxed their innings closed.
