ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
j (PKESS ASSOCIATION TBIJKJBAMB.) ' GISBORNE, June 24. A man named Edward Flutter, aged 25 years, a native of London, died suddenly last evening whilst engaged in milking, The deceased fell on his face in the yard, and when picked up a few minutes later, he was dead. Ho was supposed to have had a fit, and was suffocated in the mud. - WELLINGTON, June 25. . J. Hern, a middle-aged man, a trimmer on board the steamer Tekoa, fell from the gangway of fcEe vessel on to the wharf last evening, and fractured ins skull. He died in the hospital this morning. DtJNdDIN, June 24. John Clark, a miner, was severely injured by a bk&ting accident at Deep Creek, Waipar! River. He has lost, the sight of both eyes.
