- | (PBESS ASSOCIATIOK TE-EGBiil.) AUCKLAND, February 9. Regulations under the Municipal Franchise Reform Act are gazetted. Mr W. H. Baker has been appointed assistant lecturer a_d instructor at the Thames School of Mines. The following have been appointed police medical officers:—Auckland, Dr. Shannan ; Wellington, Dr. Teare; Christchurch, Dr. Symes; Dunedin, Dr. McDonald. Unclaimed sections fol land at Okato (Taranaki) and Te Rona (Auckland), have been vested in the Public Trustee. He gives notice that he claims an unoccupied section* at Cromwell, Otago. > __ "
