GRAIN AND PRODUCE MARKETS.

(BY OT7R COMMERCIAL EDITOR.) Tuesday Evening. There is still very little life in the wheat market, practically none of the old season's crop changing hands. New wheat is beginning to move off in small parcels, either for local consumption or for coastal shipment. For prime new Tuscan 2s 4£d to 2s 4sd, f.0.b., has been paid, several sales having been made on the basis of these values. For a large line 2s 3d, f.0.b., was refused. There is a fair enquiry for cats, especially for milling varieties, of which there are few samples offering. Duns are worth Is 3d, sparrowbills Is 4d, and Canadians Is 6d, f.0.b., and at these figures several sales have taken place. There is a demand for new oatsheaf chaff for local consumption, and 40s delivered in town is being offered.
