Tuesday, February 7. (Before R. Beetham, Esq., S.M.) Drttxkenness.-—For this offence Richard Tubman was fined 10s, or in default fortyeight hours' imprisonment. A man and a woman, their first appearance, were convicted and discharged. Breach ov By-la w.rr-Jag. Troup, for causing to te inserted in a Drainage Board sewer pipes from baths without being licensed, was fined £ , with solicitor's fee, £1 Is. Mr CowJishaw appeared for.the Drainage Board. Maintenance.—Hugh Manson, Thomas S. Manson, and Henry B. Manson, were charged, with failing to comply with an order of the court directing them to contribute Is 6d eiich per week towards the maintenance of their brother. The amount of arrears owing by each on January 24th was 13s 6d. Mr McConnel, who appeared for the complainant, said that the arrears had been paid since the issue of the summons, but the parties never paid unless summonsed, which had now been done four times. They wete well able to pay, and gave a great deal of trouble. The defendants did not appear, and were fined each £1, with £1 Is solicitor's fee. A case against Hugh Manson was dismissed, there being an error in the summons.—Thomas Dalwood, in arrears £2 12s 6d with his contribution towards the support of his illegitimate child, was ordered to pay the arrears forthwith, together with £1 Is solicitor's fee, or, in default, to be imprisoned for one month with hard labour.—Robert'Balsom, for whom Mr Kippenberger appeared, was ordered to pay Annie Hughes (Mr Cresswell) 4s per week towards the support 'of their illegitimate child, to pay £5 expenses, and £2 2s solicitor's fee, and to find one surety in £50.

Affiliation Case.—-A case against Josaph Ayres was adjourned till February 11th," and one against Alex. Mills, till February 21st. Summary Separation.—Margaret Orange, for whom Mr Cresswell appeared, applied lor a separation, from her husband, Arthur David Orange, on the ground of his persistent cruelty. Mr McConnel appeared for the defendant, who made no opposition, and the order was made as prayed, the defendant to pay 12s per week to his wife, and £1 Is solicitor's fee.
