MARKET REPORTS.
There was an entry of forty horsea at Tdttersall's on Saturday, mostly medium and inferior sorts. Light draughts made. £14 to £18, good harness horses £10 to £12, and other light sorts £2 to £8. There was only a small attendance of buyers, as farmers are still engaged with harvest work| At the produce markets there were saall entries of pigs, and very active demand was manifested for all descriptions on offer. Suckers made 12s 3d to 15s, weaners 16s to 22s 6d, stores 25s to 355, and porkers 30s to 40s. There were good entries of poultry, and table birds sold well, hens realising 2a 3d to 33' 6d, pulleta 33 9d to 4s 9d, roosters 2s 9d to 4s 9d, ducks soarce 2j 9d to 4s, and geese 3s 6d to 4s 3d, all at per ' pair. At the Duvauchelle's Bay monthly sale on 3rd inst. the New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Limited, in conjunction with Mr Robwt Latter/ 'sold Mr James Reynolds's Little River farm of . 120 acres to Mr William Brodie, of Pigeon Bay, at £20 per acre.
