*»• Under this heading we hope to print, every Monday, signed articles on literary, social, and philosophical questions from leaders of thought and capable writers in all parts of New Zealand, thue filling in come measure the place of a New Zealand magazine* the absence of which is frequently regretted. Controversial articles on. religion or party politics will be excluded, but we shall gladly welcome for this column original thought and bold writing on non-party subjects of general interest.
