UaiUd Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. PEKIN, February 4. The Tsung-li-Yamen compensates the relatives of the murdered missionary, the Rev. Mr Fleming, to the extent of thirty thousand dollars (£6000).* The" murderers have been beheaded. The Chinese Government, in accordance with the demands of Sir Claude Mac Donald, lias declared Nanning-fu, at the confluence of the Yu-kiang and Tsi-kiaug rivers, a treaty port, thus completing the opening of the West river to trade.
