Owing to harvest the attendance of the public at the Rangiora markets on Tuesday «m limited. In the Northern Central Yards the entry was—2ooo sheep, 40 cattle, 70 pigs, 59 horses. Prices were—Fat ewes 8s od to Hβ, fat wethers lie 6d to 14s, good ■tore lambs 8s 6d to 9s, medium store lambs 6s 6d to 7s, dry store old ewes 4s 6d to ss' 9(1, hal/bred hoggets 9s 6d to 10s lOd, merino ewe* for breeding 6» 7d to 6e 9d. CattleBeef equal 18s to 19s per 1001b for prime, cow beef 13s to 14$, epringere £3 17e 6d to £6 2s 6d, yearlings 15s to 255, two-year-old Mifers £1 15s to £2 2e 6d. Pigs—Prime baooneri 60a to 60s, medium do 40s to 455, porkers 26s to 30s, good stores 25s to 28s, wouier* 12» to 16s, euckers 8s to 10s. Horse*—This was a special sale of horses from the North Island, of which 32 were told. Prices—Four and five years old, broken, £29, £34 to £37 10s; lighter sorts, £20, £23 to £26; unbroken light horses, £4 to £4 10». In the North Canterbury Yards there were 800 sheep. Halfbred ewes ■old at 8s 2d, store lambs 7s 6d to 9s Id, crossbred ewes 4a 3d to 6s.
