United Press Association—By Electrio Telegraph—Copyright. SYDNEY, January 5. Between forty and fifty Austrians arrived this morning by the Konigin Louise. The only action which the Government here took was to get the men to. sign the usual declaration that they were exempt from the provisions of the Immigration Restriction Act. In connection with New Zealand's action with regard to the Austrians, important developments are expected in a day or so. (PRESS ASSOCIATIOX TELEGRAM.) AUCKLAND, January 5. Information has been received that over forty Austrians will arrive from Sydney on Monday week. It is understood from communications from Wellington that the Premier will maintain the attitude adopted with regard to the Austrians by the Waihora — namely, each must show means of maintenance lor thirteen weeks.
