ELLERSLIE TRAINING NOTES.
(press association te__gk_m.) I AUCKLAND, December 7. The course proper was thrown open at I . Ellerslie this morning. A feature of the ■. work was a splendid gallop by Coronet over the Cup distance. He had Dayntre© for a companion . in the last part of the journey. St. Paul covered two miles on the tan at strong halfj pace, St. Ursula assisting in the last three i furlongs. Nestor was also worked over the Cup distance on the tan, Regulus bringing him home. Eaton easily beat Drum Major over six furlongs. Acone, Explosion, _intares, Telephone, and a number of other horses were worked.
