WEDNESDAY'S STOCK REPORTS.
(BY Otlß COMMERCIAL EDITOR.) .'•■',"• There was a fairly large entry of stock in tne Addington Yards, and a good attendance. The yarding of store sheep was made up prin- , cipally of small lots of two and four-tooth wethers, and ewes, and lambs. Well-grown shorn wethers sold readily, and made 10s 6d to 11s 10d, a line of 220 bringing the latter figure. Large-framed two-tooths were also well competed for, but secondary sorts that were not likely to come out satisfactorily were neglected. A line of 456 shorn made 8s 9d. There was nothing very good among the ewes and lambs, and the best prices were 7s to 7a.lid, all counted, the ewes being in the wool. The yarding of fat lambs was just upon 2000 and there was keen competition for all prime freezing lines, and late rates were fully maintained. The small pens met with a more irregular sale, as did also some consignments that arrived too l»te to be drafted.''
