(a) In game-"879 of-the "Draughts World" L. E. Morlan gives this to correct var. 136 of " Kear*i Sturges," where H. W. Kay plays 9 14, allowing White to win. (b) Mr Morlan played 24 27 here, which . =, the Editor of the _" World" showed to ~ allow of a White win, and suggested this to ',' >. , draw, but I think White can win as above, i}, ,.'.
