A SPANISH GENERAL INSULTED. United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. MADRID, September 22. Admiral Cervera- • and General Toral have arrived in, Spain. Crowds insulted General Toral, who was compelled to take refuge in a railway station. Admiral Montojo, the commander-in-chief of the Spanish squadron in the naval battle against Admiral Dewey, whom it was subsequently announced was to be courtmartialled on charges of incompetency and cowardice, has been suspended. The Spanish conjvicts, who fought as volunteers in the late war, have been pardoned.
