INTER-UNION MATCHES.
During the present season the Canterbury representatives have played in ten inter-union or Interprovincial matches. They have won six, lost three, and one has been drawn, and havo scored 92 points, against 84, the following being the results: July 28—v South Canterbury, at Christchurch, won by 18 points (3 goals from tries and 1 try) to 3 points (1 try). August I—v Nelson, at Nelson, won by 9 points (3 tries) to 3 points (1 try). August 6—v Auckland, at Auckland, lost by 24 points (3 goals from tries and 3 tries) to 3 points (1 try).
August 10—v Wanganui, at Wanganui, won by 14 points (1 goal from a try and 3 tries) to 6 points (2 trios).
August 13—v Hawke's Bay, at Napier, won by 15 points (1 goal from a try, 1 goal from a mark, and 2 tries) to 3 points (1 try).
August 17—v Wairarapa, at Masterton, won by 13 points (1 goal from a try and 2 goals from marks) to 4 points (1 goal from a mark).
August 20—v Wellington, at Wellington, drawn (6 points each) (Wellington 2 tries, Canterbury 2 penalty goals). September B—v Otago, at Christchurch, lost by 16 points (2 goals from tries and 2 tries) to nothing. September 10—v Southland, at Christchurch, won by 4 points (1 goal from a mark) to nothing. ) September 15—v South Canterbury, at Temuka, lost by 19 points (5 tries and 1 goal from a mark) to 10 )2 goals from tries).
