MARKET REPORTS.

There was a • good attendance at the West Melton saleyards on Monday. There was a medium entry of sheep, most of which were hoggets of inferior quality, but owing to the scarcity of feed in all quarters they were entirely neglected. The few that were sold realised from, for hoggets 6s to 8s 9d, crossbred ewes in lamb and lambs at foot from 4s to 9s.

There was a fair attendance at the Geraldine sale on Wednesday, but the sale was soon over, the entry being a very small one. A pen of fat wethers brought 13s 9d, fat ewes sold at from 9s to 12s 6d, hoggets (medium) fetched 7s 6cl to 9s 6d. There were only two head of cattle in the yards. A fat cow sold for £4 15s, and a spriDger £o 10.. There was a fair entry of pigs, and a good sale for them.
