Some anxiety is felt in shipping circles for the safety of the barque Lake Ontario, now 148 days out from Liverpool tc Wellington. She has. 1391 tons cargo, mostly of a weighty description, including a large quantity of bundle and bar iron. Of this cargo 215 tons are for Lyttelton, 105 for Auckland, and 600 for Duneriin.
