The Onda arrived from Calcutta via northern ports yesterday forenoon. Captain James Wiisou, KiN.K., is in command, with the following oc»rs: Chief, Mr W. P. Stewart; second,' .tar J. The Onda 1 left Calcutta on July 31st, and experienced strong south-west monsoons and squally. weather to Rangoon, where the steamer arrived on August sth. She left Kangoon on August 9th for Singapore, and experienced good weather all the way, arriving there on August 11th. She re* sumed her voyage on August 17th, and met with strong head winds to Thursday Island, which was signalled on August 29th. Strong head winch and seas prevailed,on the passage acro33 to New Zealand. She. arrived at Auckland on September 2nd. On arriving yesterday the Onda was berthed at.No. S wharf, but as her length is too great to allow of her fore hatch being worked there she was to be moved to No. 7 wharf to take the place of the Duke of Devonshire this morning. The Onda will sail for the south probably to-night. The Hesketh is to sail for Westport tomorrow.
