A special meeting of the South Island Trotting Association was held last evening, at the request of C. Kerr, a licensed trainer and driver, to enquire into certain allegations made in the hearing of a case in the S.M. Court over the ownership of the trot tine mare Maggie M. After evidence had been heard, the following resolution was carried unanimously :—" This Association having gone fully into the evidence of the Maggie M. case and the reflections cast upon Charles Kerr are of opinion that there is no case to answer, and that the reflections cast upon him are without the slightest truth or foundation."
