Mr B. Hallenstein arrived from Dunedin by the express last night. Mr T. L. Meason came by the same train. Mr R. S. Abraham, of Palmerston North, arrived yesterday from Wellington. Mr Pyke, of Wellington, and Mr Falk, of Sydney, went north yesterday by steamer. Mr J. H. Curie, of Johannesburg, proceeds to Reefton to-day by coach. The following were passengers for the •with % the express yesterday:—Mr and ,ni 8 L ' rjar<l (Alexandra), Mr E. Harris (Wenavy), Mr S. Hurst Seager. The Hon. A. Lee Smith, M.L.0., is a passenger by the Monowai, on his way to »V elijDgton.
