AN INTERRUPTED SERMON.
A mild sensation was caused at the Onehungft Wesleyan Church on Sunday night (says the "New Zealand Heraid"), tlrough a man ia the congregation interrupting the fiev. S. Lawry in his sermon. Mi I.awry wae preaching from the text, • .'.it him know that he which convertettt t'..e sinner from the error of his ways, shall sa*-e a eoul fnm death, and shall hide a multitude of sins." Bborfcly after the commencing of the eomon ft middle-aged man ««se from his aea and •aid, "Mr Lawry, that's personal; will you repeat the text?" On hearing the text rejeated, he replied, "That's personal, Mr Xawry, and I shall go home and road mv own Bible, to see if it is the same a& Hβ then picked up hie hat and left the church. The service then proceeded as usual. The'man in question wus a peifect ■trantfer to Mr Lawry, and also to the church officials.
