THE VOLUNTEERS.
The New Zealand representatives at Bisley, Corporal MoKay and Private Parsons, of the Honorary Reserves, Christchurch, although firing well "on several occasions, missed the prizo list in all bat one match, the Alexandra. Private Parsons put up 33 at- 200 yds kneeling in the Golden Penny Match, out although .the prize list was a lengthy one, he did not succeed in fetting included in ifc. The scores put up % y the New Zealanders in the Alexandra were—Mackay 35 at 500 yds and 31 at 600 ' yds, total 66; and Parsons putting up 34 at 500 yds and 31 at 600 yds. The wind was very trying throughout, and several of the ■ cracks failed to get into the prize lists at all during the meeting. The 'Lyttelton Naval Artillery intend meeting the E Battery, after their church parade at Governor's Bay next Sunday, with their two cutters to convey them to Lyttelton.
