MARKET REPORTS.
At the clearing sale of li*. o stock and farm implements at Hoon Hay yesterday, conducted by the New- Zealand Farmers' Co-operative Association, there was a very large attendance, and good competition for everything offered. Of a line of 1000 threequarterbred ewea- in lamb to English Leicester rams 250 made 12s 3d, and the balance was taken at lis 9d, 600 hoggets made 8s Id, and - two-tooth ewes and wethers 93 6d. Horses, cattle apd implements brought satisfactory prices. Messrs H. Matson and Co. yesterday disposed of Mr William Watson's wellknown _Brookside herd of shorthorns. All lots were disposed of. Balls realised sgs to 13gs, pedigree cows up to 26gs, the principal buyers being Messrs W. Gebbie, W. Nixon, Legrett, Hay Smith, Arthur Chamberlain, H. High t, T. B. Howson, W. B. Andrew, Jno. Mangels and W. Cunningham. Hacks, unbroken, made £7 to £14, unbroken draughts, £23.
