THE VOLUNTEERS.
The Imperial Rifles, under Captain held a Government parade last night. There was a muster of 45. The Garrison Band held their regular practice in the E Battery orderly room last night.

WELLINGTON, June 15.
Inclusive of 200 Cadets, the Volunteers in Wellington now number over 1000, besides the newly formed companies. Recruiting is active in the corps. The Petone Navals number 104, and further additions are expected.
