Donald McKinnon was sold by auction for 300g3 to Mr C. Gidney, an Indian buyer. J. Hickey, who took Ebor and Norton Home, is now in Melbourne, en route to New Zealand. Resolute, Amiable,. and Patron left for England by the s.s. Bungaree yesterday in charge of J. Bloomfield, Patron's late trainer. i The Epsom stewards meet to-morrow to reconsider the disqualification of R. Batty and the horse His Grace, which was again referred back to them by the committee of the Victoria Racing Club. [Batty and the horse were disqualified for six months for malpractices in the Jumpers' Flat Race at the last meeting at Epsom]
Acceptances for the Hawke's Bay Steeplechase and Hurdle Race close to-day, and the nominations are due for the minor events.
